Twitter Is Late On Rent

Twitter is being sued for failing to pay $136,250 in rent for the company’s San Francisco office.

The landlord of the office building has stated that the company was notified on December 16th that it would be in default of its lease if the landlord did not receive the money within the next five days. Twitter has still yet to pay so the situation has been moved to the courts.

This is not the first time that Twitter has been reluctant to pay rent. According to the New York Times, Twitter has not paid for any of the company’s global offices for over a month now.

Twitter has yet to comment on the situation.
