Dominos Leaves Russia

Domino's Pizza is following other Western businesses and pulling operations out of Russia as the war with Ukraine persists.

Domino’s Pizza will no longer be available within Russia as the company announced on Monday that it will be closing its doors within the country. The London-listed company DP Eurasia, which controls the rights to Domino’s Pizza within Russia, Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Georgia, has declared bankruptcy for its Russian subsidiary after DP Eurasia was unable to sell the company in recent weeks.

This is nothing new for Western countries pulling out of Russia. According to data released by Ukraine’s Kyiv School of Economics, more than 750 of the 3,400 companies analyzed have stopped operations within Russia with many of them experiencing significant monetary losses.
