Another Round of Twitter Layoffs

Twitter continues to struggle as Elon Musk announced another round of job cuts over the weekend in a continued effort to reduce costs for the company.

Since this past November, the majority of employees have been let go from Twitter as the company previously employed 7,500 individuals and that number has since dropped to roughly 1,200.

The most recent round of layoffs targeted a much smaller group of individuals as the number of employees to lose their jobs is estimated to be roughly 200. However, the targeted employees retain more prestigious positions within the company such as director of product management.

Despite continuous layoffs, the company is still struggling to maintain a sustainable revenue as advertisers are still staying away from the platform.
